The Service — an independent software (SaaS) service (a Telegram bot and API) — displays data about your vehicle(s) obtained through the official CarData under your own access (BYO). One account may expose several vehicles. The Service is strictly read-only: it can only receive your vehicle's data and show it back to you — it can never send any command to the car. This is not just our policy: the official CarData API has no vehicle-control commands at all — it only returns data — so remotely locking, starting or moving the car is technically impossible for any software, ours or anyone else's.
You initiate and control the whole flow: you
register, you bring your own CarData access (BYO), you create and control your own Telegram
bot, and you instruct the Service to fetch, aggregate and analyse your own data and
return it through your bot. To do this, the Service transmits your data to and
stores it on our servers (in Switzerland — Oracle Cloud Zurich; see Privacy). By
accepting these terms at registration you consent to this storage, and can stop it anytime
by disconnecting your access or deleting your data (/deletedata).
Your data is strictly isolated and reaches no one else. Each account is walled off: no other user of the Service can ever see another user's vehicle data. The origin server is closed behind a tunnel with no inbound ports open, so no third party from the internet can reach your data either — it is accessible only to you, through your own bot and the access you authorize.
The Service is an independent, third-party software tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW AG) or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. BMW, MINI, BMW ConnectedDrive, CarData and My BMW, together with all related names, marks, emblems and logos, are trademarks or registered trademarks of BMW AG and remain the property of their respective owners. They are used here only for identification and descriptive purposes (nominative fair use) to indicate compatibility — such use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement. The Service interacts solely with the official CarData interface using access that you authorize, and is not a product of BMW AG.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind. Data may be delayed, missing or inaccurate. Do not rely on the Service for safety or emergencies.
You use the Service voluntarily, at your own discretion and entirely at your own risk, in relation to your own vehicle and account. Any decisions based on its data are your responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost data, or damage to property/vehicle arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
You are the lawful owner/user of the vehicle and account; you comply with the manufacturer's terms; you keep your tokens secret; you do not use the Service unlawfully or to track third parties without consent.
If you connect your own AI agent or other software via the provided API, you do so at your own risk.
We may update these terms or suspend access for breach or technical reasons. Continued use means acceptance. You may stop anytime and revoke access in the manufacturer's portal.
