BMW fault code E1C447

E1C447 is a fault stored in your BMW's memory (an ISTA fault code, not a standard OBD-II P-code).

What it means:
MOST multimedia optical bus: a control unit logged off — all of its function blocks left the network. Usually a break in the optical ring or a reboot of one of the multimedia modules (head unit, amplifier, telematics). Check the optical connectors and the modules' power supply.
