8044A3 is a fault stored in your BMW's memory (an ISTA fault code, not a standard OBD-II P-code).

What it means:
Horn wiring: short circuit to earth. A common cause is water getting inside the horn so that it shorts internally. Check the horn connector and wiring, replace the horn if needed.
