BMW fault code 30196

What it means:
Window regulator switched off due to overheating: the module cut power to the motor to stop it burning out. Let it cool for a couple of minutes and check the window track for dirt and ice; if needed re-initialise the window — fully down, then fully up, holding the switch at each end.
